Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfalls, also known as Bhuana Sari Waterfall, is a hidden gem in Bali.
Located in the protected forest area of Wanagiri village, Sukasada district, Buleleng regency, Bali, this waterfall is one of the most special waterfalls in Bali. With looks straight out of a fairytale, this waterfall is absolutely worth a visit.
About Banyu Wana Amertha Waterfalls
The Banyu Wana Amertha waterfall is a stunning waterfall and the best secret (and surprise!) lies in the fact that there is not only one waterfall to explore.
This location is so unique because, in comparison to the other Bali waterfalls, there are multiple waterfalls to explore here.
Each with their own beauty! In rainy season there are even up to four waterfalls to explore.
The walk down to the waterfalls is easy and doable for every age. The steps only slope down slightly and after 10 minutes you will find the first signs to the different waterfalls.
From this crossing, you can follow two paths, each leading to two waterfalls. For the way back to the parking area, there are even motorbikes available to bring you back up if you are out of energy.
Entrance Fee and Opening Times
The entrance fee for the waterfall is 30.000 IDR per person and 2000 IDR for the motorbike. The official opening times are from 8AM to 6PM.
How to Get There
The best option to get around in Bali is to rent a motorbike. For around 50.000 – 100.000 IDR you can rent a motorbike which will give you the freedom to explore wherever you want.
The drive up to the north takes about 1.5 hours from the main tourist areas like Kuta, Seminyak and Canggu.
I would suggest staying for a few days in North Bali and exploring more of this beautiful area.
There are so many waterfalls and lakes to explore, you can be busy for days! Banyu Wana Amertha waterfall is easy to find with the road leading straight towards the entrance of the waterfalls.
